My approach
Research and Architecture
Researching the problem and the solution being built is my first step, focusing on identifying the most suitable architecture patterns—whether microservices, serverless, or event-driven—to ensure scalability and flexibility. I also conduct a thorough investigation of common security vulnerabilities by studying incident reports from similar projects to proactively integrate robust security measures. By selecting the right tools and analyzing potential threats, I aim to design a high-performance, secure, and scalable system that meets all project requirements.
Development, Testing and Review
In the Development, Testing, and Review phase, I prioritize building robust and maintainable code, often using a test-driven development (TDD) approach. This includes writing unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure each component works correctly and integrates smoothly. Security and performance testing are essential to uncover vulnerabilities and enhance efficiency. Regular code reviews are conducted to gain different perspectives, uphold best practices, and maintain high code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Deployment and Monitoring
In the Deployment and Monitoring phase, I deploy applications to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. I monitor performance with tools like Prometheus, Sentry, and Datadog. For security, I implement SIEM for real-time threat detection and use honeypots to respond to potential threats, ensuring robust security and system resilience.
